I'm talking about the goddess of inspiration, imagination and creativity, the absence of which leaves many a writer of talent, gritted his teeth and tore his clothes. For me, my teeth are still ungnashed and unrent my clothes, because I never suffered from a lack of ideas for my work. This means that I have learned to deceive "the muse" or just that I have learned the techniques to promote my creativity?
The answer is both, to perform at the endmean exactly the same. The inspiration comes from the unconscious work of the Spirit that we can, by definition, have no control over it. However, there are some tricks you can use to make the brain to stimulate the neural connections, the proliferation of ideas.

I also played with self-hypnosis, and it helps me to relax and to reach a plateau creative, but if it is absolutely necessary, I'm not so sure.
